Academic Programs

Urban Studies is an interdisciplinary program of the AddRan College of Liberal Arts. Students must complete 18 hours of credit to earn the Urban Studies minor. Course offering are drawn from multiple disciplines across the university, including geography, history, political science, sociology, criminal justice, economics, and others.

The Urban Studies minor is intended for any undergraduate student seeking to develop a multi-disciplinary exploration of cities, looking into the organization of urban space, the varied and multiple dimensions of urban life, and the many challenges presented by the rapid pace of urban change in the 21st century.
